Examination

What is the mode of conduct for examinations?
 
Online Examinations are based on objective pattern.
 
When can one appear for examination from the date of registration?
 
Student can appear as and when he has prepared for examinations and any time during examination cycle i.e. March, June, September and December.
 
When are the examinations conducted and where?
 
The semester exams are scheduled every four times a year (March, June, September and December). You need to select the location for the online examination at select centers of Attest (Aptech).
 
How is the grading pattern at MITSDE? Is that mandatory to score any minimum marks so as to clear the paper ?
 
Examinations passing marks are 50/100.Examinations marks contribute 70% & Assignment marks contribute 30%  weightage for the diploma certificate
 
Do I need to pay fees so as to appear for examinations? How do I do that?
 
a) Examination fees of Rs.200/- (per Subject) for Indian residents / $50 per Subject for NRI Students is payable with effect from Ist January 10 for all the students. Student(s) are requested to draw a demand draft in favour of “MIT School of Distance Education”, Pune.
b) Students who have enrolled from January 2009 onwards and have paid exam fees during the enrollment need to send exam enrollment form only.
c) Any re-attempt for examination will be charged Rs. 200 per Subject for Indian residents / $50 per Subject for NRI Students.
 
How many subjects can one appear in single day?
 
Student can appear for maximum of two subjects in a selected day.
 
Can we change the examination center after booking the slot?
 
No.
 
Is it mandatory to fill in the exam enrollment form?
 
Yes.
 
Can some one appear from other than Attest center for examinations?
 
No. It is mandatory to appear from Attest Center only.
 
What are charges (Fees) for reappearing examinations?
 
For reappearing student needs to pay Rs.200/- for Indian residents / $50 per Subject for NRI Students.
